Immersive Simulation
& Visualisation
Precision repair and calibration for the world's most demanding projection environments. From Flight Simulators and CAVE systems to Planetariums and Virtual Production stages.
The Zero-Failure Mandate
In the realm of simulation and immersive experiences, the projector is not merely a display device; it is the architect of reality. Whether training a commercial pilot in a Level D Full Flight Simulator, immersing a golfer in a virtual PGA tour, or enveloping data scientists in a CAVE environment, the visual system must perform with absolute precision.
RepairTech specialises in the maintenance of high-performance projection systems where standard AV support falls short. We understand that a 1% drift in geometry or a slight mismatch in colour temperature between blended channels can break the illusion of immersion or, in training scenarios, invalidate the certification of the simulator.
We support major platforms including Barco, Christie Digital, Sony, JVC, Digital Projection, and Sim2. Our engineers are trained in the complexities of multi-channel edge blending, active stereo 3D (volumetric), and the thermal management of laser-phosphor light engines housed in enclosed pods.
Flight & Driving Sim
Maintenance of collimated displays and NVG-compatible projectors. Vibration-proof optical alignment.
Sports Simulation
Specialists in high-impact environments (Golf/Shooting) requiring dust-sealed optical engines and impact protection.
CAVE & VR
Stereoscopic 3D calibration. Precision colour matching for multi-wall rear projection environments.
Visitor Attractions
Support for projection mapping and dark rides. High-uptime contracts for 7-day operations.
Beyond The Lamp: Laser Architecture
Modern simulation relies heavily on Solid State Illumination (Laser Phosphor / RGB Laser). While these units boast "maintenance-free" marketing, the reality in 24/7 environments is different.
Common issues we resolve include Phosphor Wheel Degradation (loss of yellow/colour shift), Liquid Cooling Pump Failure (overheating in sealed optics), and Laser Diode Bank dropouts (loss of brightness uniformity).
Warp & Blend Modules
Repair of internal geometry correction hardware essential for curved screens.
Liquid Cooling
Refilling and pump replacement for Barco and Christie glycol loops.
Lens Servicing
Ultrasonic cleaning of UST and Fisheye lenses to remove contrast-killing hazing.
Colour Matching
Spectroradiometer calibration to match Rec.709 or DCI-P3 standards.
Simulation Fault Identification
Reference matrix for high-end projection anomalies. Identifiers simulate visual output errors.

Heavy Industry Disposal
Large venue simulation projectors contain substantial amounts of electronic waste, glycol coolants, and heavy metals. Standard disposal is not an option.
RepairTech manages the lifecycle of 50kg+ chassis units. We strip rare-earth magnets from lens motors, recycle magnesium alloy frames, and safely neutralize liquid cooling agents.
